About Klappay

A crypto payments API
that never touches your money

Why
non-custodial

Most payment processors — crypto ones included — still work like a bank: your customer's money lands in the provider's account first, then gets forwarded to you. That model asks merchants to trust a third party with funds it doesn't own, every single time.

Klappay was built to remove that step entirely. Every charge predicts a deterministic on-chain split address before any money moves. The payer sends funds straight to that address, and Klappay only ever detects and reports the payment — it is never in the custody path. If Klappay disappeared tomorrow, the funds already sent would still be exactly where they were sent: with you.

What
"Klap" means

Keep Liquidity Always Permissionless. In Dutch and German, a klap is a sharp, instant strike — in English, a clap of approval. Both fit: a payment that settles the instant it's sent, with nothing standing between the payer and the merchant.

Pronounced KLAP-pay — rhymes with "clap" + "pay", one soft p.
